Gerdago up for sale Promising young hurdler Gerdago is set to go under the hammer at the Brightwell Cheltenham Sale on Friday evening. The three-year-old gelding, owned by Raymond Doyle, looked a bright prospect when winning by 13 lengths at Navan on Sunday. "He's improved with every run. He got a bit green and lonely in front but he was impressive. There's more to come from him," said his trainer Ken Condon. "I'd like to keep him because I think he has Cheltenham Festival potential - whether it be the Fred Winter or the Triumph. We'd have found that out in between. "He's a promising type, but we've got to let him go through the ring and see what happens."
