Getaway on course for Arc Andre Fabre will prepare Getaway for his next start in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on October 5 after the five-year-old returned to winning ways at Deauville on Sunday. The master French trainer has won his country's biggest race seven times - the latest in 2006 with Rail Link - with Getaway having been cut to as short as 10-1 by bookmakers after the Group Two Grand Prix de Deauville. "He's come out of the race fine and we were extremely happy with him," Fabre told PA Sport. "The Arc will definitely be the next race for him." Frankie Dettori was the rider in Deauville and the pair enjoyed a stylish length victory over Richard Gibson's solid benchmark Doctor Dino. Getaway also caught the imagination when winning at Newmarket in May but was returning from disappointing runs in the Coronation Cup and the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud.
