Gibney hoping Working Class Hero can go one better next time Trainer Thomas Gibney is hopeful that recent Punchestown bumper runner-up Working Class Hero can step up a place and register a first career win in the coming weeks. Third on his point-to-point debut at Dromahane in November 2024, the Workforce gelding was pulled up on his only subsequent start at Borris House the following month. Off the track until reappearing at the festival, the Meath trainer believes that there is plenty to look forward to with the six-year-old: "The winner was very good. "Delighted with him, we were very happy. "He was a nice horse, and we liked him when I bought him about 14/15 months ago. "We were just unfortunate that he got injured, so he came back sound and well. We like him. "It would be nice to win a bumper, for sure, with him." Additional reporting by Michael Graham.
