Gilt on course for Ballyogan Clive Cox is looking forward to running Gilt Edge Girl in the Ballyogan Stakes at Leopardstown on Thursday. The Lambourn trainer has targeted his filly at this Group Three prize since she made a winning reappearance in Listed company at Bath in April. "It's a fillies' only race, they've also had a drop of rain and are expecting a drop more. That makes us all the more excited about her chances," said Cox. "We've been very patient since that Listed success at Bath which was very pleasing, and she's in good form. "I hope the six furlongs won't be a problem. She's run well on stiff tracks before over five and six. Both come the same to her really. "She won't mind the ground either way. If we have a drop more rain or even if it remains drier, it won't matter to her."
