The second divide of the SIS Supporting Irish Racing Handicap Hurdle was a lively betting market throughout the day and one of the market-movers, Gimme A Buzz made all to justify 15/8 favouritism.

He was pushed along by Mark Walsh after two out and retained the lead over the last from Ballycommon Chapel who looked the only danger.

The leader stuck to his task well along the run-in and gamely saw off Ballycommon Chapel (8/1) by three-parts of a length. Good Bye Milan (11/1) was six and a-half lengths adrift in third, while fourth-placed Mattie's Mountain (28/1) was five lengths further away.

Enda Bolger said: “He’s out of a very good mare, Upsie, that Willie (Mullins) trained one time.

“It’s taken us a while to win a race with him, but we’ll keep going for the summer as he loved the ground.

“He got a lovely ride from Mark, and we’ll see where we go next. He’ll jump a fence as well.”

Gimme A Buzz was available at 5/1 this morning.
