Ginge goes for Gold double Splash Of Ginge will attempt to become the first horse since Exotic Dancer in 2006 to complete the big handicap chase double at Cheltenham in Saturday's Caspian Caviar Gold Cup. Nigel Twiston-Davies' nine-year-old bounced back to form in last month's BetVictor Gold Cup and bids to join an elite list of horses to have won both races in the same season. In-form Twiston-Davies also runs Foxtail Hill. Paul Nicholls fields a strong team of three out of only 11 declared as he looks for a fifth win in 10 years. Nicholls, back in the big time with Politologue winning the Tingle Creek last week, fields top-weight Clan Des Obeaux, Le Prezien and Romain De Senam. The former champion trainer is looking to add to the wins of Poquelin (2009, 2010), Unioniste (2012) and Frodon last season. Starchitect, Ballyalton and Guitar Pete, who all ran in November, are back once more. Long House Hall, King's Odyssey and Deauville Dancer complete the list.
