Glinka joins Gary Moore Gary Moore insists plans are very much "up in the air" for Mikhail Glinka after the colt joined the trainer from Aidan O'Brien. The son of Galileo was last seen winning the Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot for Ballydoyle and looks set for a spell with Moore before heading to Dubai. He remains towards the head of the betting for the Ladbrokes St Leger at Doncaster in September but has been scratched from the Great Voltigeur Stakes and the Ebor. "All I know is that he turned up on Monday and we haven't done anything with him since," said Moore. "I believe he has been bought with a view to going to Dubai next year and plans for him will be made by South African trainer Herman Brown. "Plans are very much up in the air at the moment and we haven't had time to assess him. "I'll speak to Herman when he comes over in three or four days time and we'll know more about what we're doing then, but I assume he'll stay here until he goes to Dubai." As short as 8/1 in places before the news broke and a top-priced 14/1 with the Classic sponsors, Sky Bet reacted by easing Mikhail Glinka out to 12/1 from 8s. Matt Doyle of Sky Bet said: "A St Leger bid is hanging in the balance now with doubts surfacing about Mikhail Glinka even lining up in the final Classic for new connections at Doncaster."
