Go Athletico has Woodlands Stakes target Ado McGuinness has set his sights on the Listed Woodlands Stakes in Naas for his sprinter Go Athletico. Since switching to McGuinness, Go Athletico has landed a Listed contest in Cork last summer and a Group 3 at the Curragh in September. He travelled out to Doha last month for the valuable Dukhan Sprint, but finished down the field in eighth. McGuinness said: "We've given him a break and he is back in work. "He'll either run at the end of the month in a Listed race at Cork or he will wait for the Woodlands in Naas. "I'd say we might go for the Woodlands." The Woodlands Stakes is on May 18th.
