God Of Power 'entitled to be' one of the favourites Andy Slattery is having a fine season and his God Of Power heads to the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Northfields Handicap in the Curragh tomorrow with stable confidence behind him. He showed an aptitude for the 10-furlong trip when keeping on in second at Roscommon and his consistency has him as one of the leading fancies for this €150,000 contest on day two of Irish Champions Festival. Assistant trainer Willie Slattery said: "He had a good run behind a smart horse (Hazdann) when we stepped him up to a mile and a quarter at Roscommon. "He's an improving three-year-old and is 2lb well in. "I know it's an ultra-competitive race, but he's one of the favourites and we think he's entitled to be." Additional reporting by Mark Nunan
