Going Updates for today's Racing The Going for this evening's opening day at Killarney remains Good on both the Flat and National Hunt tracks with some Good to Firm patches on the National Hunt course. There were 2mm of rain overnight and there will be watering to maintain the National Hunt course. The Feature race at Killarney is the Cairn Rouge Stakes, a Listed contest for fillies run over an extended mile. The first race is at 5.40pm. Downpatrick, which begins at 2.50pm, reports the track to be Good to Firm. Watering took place yesterday. The forecast is for showers countrywide today. The weather is expected to become dryer and hotter as the week progresses. The Going at the Curragh ahead of this weekend's Oaks meeting is Good to Firm.
