The ground at Galway ahead of the three day September meet is heavy, soft in places (Flat), and yielding, yielding to soft in places (National Hunt).

There was 3mm of rain overnight and a further 4mm this morning. The forecast says there will be showers today, mainly dry tomorrow.

The going at Down Royal ahead of racing there on Friday is currently good after six millimetres of rain overnight.

At Listowel the ground is yielding, yielding to soft in places (five millimetres of rain overnight) ahead of the week long Harvest Festival which starts on Sunday.

Meanwhile the ground at the Curragh ahead of racing there next Saturday is good to yielding following five millimetres of rain overnight.
