Bellewstown is good to firm (Flat), good to firm, good in places (NH). It is watering to maintain.

This evening sees the start of the three-day festival at the Co Meath track. Racing gets under way at 5.20pm with an eight race mixed card.

The richest race ever to be run at Bellewstown - the Fast Shipping Bellewstown Hurdle worth €25,000 - takes place at 7.55pm.

There will be a €25,000 bonus for the winning connections of this race if their horse goes on to win the Galway Hurdle in August.

There is also racing at Wexford, with a 5.10pm start. Again there are eight races on this National Hunt card.

Meanwhile, the going at Limerick is good to firm (watering to maintain) ahead of Sunday's action at 2.05pm. The forecast is for a dry and warm weekend.
