The feature on today's card is the Friends Of The Curragh Irish Cesarewitch (Premier Handicap) over two miles and one furlong at 4:20 PM. Here, the Willie Mullins-trained The Reverend is a 4/1 favourite and sets a very high standard under champion jockey-elect Billy Lee. Sky Captain is the other market mover in the field and has now been backed into 9/2 second favourite for Joseph O'Brien. The lightly raced five-year-old has recently been moved from Paddy Twomey to his current trainer. There is also a Group 3 race at The Curragh today in the form of the Darley Fillies Stakes, where Curracloe bids to follow up on her impressive debut success. The Baaeed filly is a short-priced 5/4 favourite for this race.
