The ground is drying out all the time at the Curragh ahead of tomorrow's Group 1 double-header, and is currently described as yielding.

The final classic of the season, the Gain Horse Feeds Irish St Leger, is the highlight with further top level action in the Goffs Vincent O'Brien Stakes (better known as the National Stakes.

An eight race card gets underway at headquarters at 3pm, with the two feature races finishing off the meeting.

The going is considerably more testing at Listowel, where the seven day Festival meeting kicks off on Sunday.

The ground at the Co. Kerry venue is soft to heavy (soft in places) following 1mm of rain overnight. The Flat track is heavy.

The weather forecast is dry for today and tomorrow, with rain set to come in overnight on Saturday and clearing on Sunday.
