Going updates There was plenty of rain during racing at Kilbeggan yesterday, but the ground for its final fixture of the year today is slightly better.  Following 10mm of rain since yesterday afternoon, the going is now good to yielding. There is fresh ground on the outer racing lines, and it's set to be dry and breezy with temperatures in the mid-teens.  A seven-race card gets under way at 4.07pm.  Two previous winners of Ireland's longest Flat race, Happy Jacky and Alba Chiara, are amongst the field for the Ulster Cesarewitch (6.00) over an extended two and a quarter miles at Down Royal. The first of eight races starts at 3.53 pm and, after 7mm of rain, the ground remains good. A mainly dry day is forecast with showers (1-2mm approx) this morning.
