It's Ladies Day at Galway and the ground is described as heavy (Flat), soft (Hurdle) and heavy (Chase).

The weather forecast is predicting widespread rain today clearing later, showers later tomorrow.

Due to ground conditions, there will be no stalls in operation for the Guinness Race (1m 6f) at Galway on Friday.

The ground at Sligo (next Wednesday and Thursday) is currently good to yielding.
