The going at Navan remains soft to heavy ahead of this afternoon's eight-race Flat meeting.

The action gets underway at the Co. Meath track at 1.35, and the forecast is to remain dry today.

Thurles opens it's gates tomorrow for the first time this National Hunt season with the 2m6f handicap hurdle divided to form an eight-race card beginning at 1.45pm.

The going is now good following 10mm of rain overnight.

Galway hosts a two day meeting this Bank Holiday weekend (Sunday & Monday), and the ground is currently described as soft after 8mm of rain overnight.

The weather forecast over the next few days is mixed, with heavy rain due tomorrow night.
