The going at Leopardstown remains soft but Limerick has eased further following 5mm of rain overnight.

The ground at Limerick is currently described as heavy (soft to heavy in places) on the hurdle track, and soft (heavy in places) on the chase track.

Meanwhile Down Royal remains soft (yielding to soft in places), while Kempton is soft(heavy on the lake bend) after 4mm of rain overnight.

The highlight at Leopardstown is the Grade 1 Racing Post Novice Chase where Champagne Fever faces five rivals, and the first of a seven-race card gets underway at 12.20. Felix Yonger is sure to go off at short odds for the Grade 2 Greenmount Park Novice Chase at Limerick where the action on a seven-race card begins at 12.30.

Down Royal also commences a seven-race card at 12.30.

The forecast is dry today but rain and high winds are due overnight, and it's expected to be showery tomorrow.
