The going at Punchestown is currently described as yielding (good in places) ahead of the Grade 1 John Durkan Chase meeting on Sunday.

The inside straight will be in use for the first circuit only on the hurdle course, with races finishing on the main track.

Racing also takes place at Cork on Sunday, where the Hilly Way Chase is the feature.

The going is currently soft to heavy (heavy in places) on the hurdle course, while it is soft (soft to heavy in places) on the chase course.

Navan is the venue for racing tomorrow where the ground is described as yielding (yielding to soft in places) on the hurdle course, and yielding to soft on the chase course.

There is flat action this evening under the lights at Dundalk, with the first on a seven-race card getting underway at 6.15pm.

The weather forecast for the next few days is generally dry but quite cold.
