Golantilla back next term Tony Martin's Golantilla will not run again this season after finishing only 11th in his second appearance in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham last week. Third in the race 12 months ago, he was not seen again until Naas at the end of February when second to Killultagh Vic. Owner Barry Connell feels he may not have been quite at the top of his game and he will head novice hurdling next season. "He travelled well for a long way and I just think some of Tony's horses are maybe not quite right," said Connell. "We'll leave him off for the rest of the season now and look forward to going novice hurdling with him next season. "He's still a smart horse."
