"The cut in the ground really helped and he needs the blinkers," said Prendergast. "He used to work well in the spring but I ended up gelding him. I was hoping to win a little nursery with him. "I don't think the handicapper will be too hard as he woudn't be impressed too much with that race. "It's job done. I love winning at Sligo - it's a lovely place. My mother, who owns him, is from Ballymote. So the pressure was on today!"
