Good card at Market Rasen this afternoon Market Rasen stages a good quality seven race all National Hunt card this afternoon with one Irish trained runner taking their chance at the Lincolnshire venue. Cool Newport trained by John 'Shark' Hanlon is the horse in question, lining up in the second race on the card at 2:40, a Juvenile Hurdle over two miles. Having drawn a blank on his first four efforts on the level here, he then made his hurdling debut at Ffos Las last month in a Juvenile Hurdle, springing a 14/1 surprise under Paddy Brennan when running out a three and a half length winner. Brennan again takes the ride today and a reproduction of his winning run at Ffos Las should see him go close. No other Irish trained runners are declared for the rest of the card, but another horse to note is Punchestown Festival winner, Street Entertainer who runs in the opening Listed Handicap Hurdle. The David Pipe trained gelding was last seen when winning by a comfortable four lengths from Magical Memoir in the Louis Fitzgerald Hurdle. He will have to deal with carrying top weight in this contest at 2:05, but on the evidence of his victory at Punchestown, the best has yet to come from the son of Danehill Dancer. Fresh from his win aboard his father Pat's Annie Other at Kilbeggan yesterday, Jack Doyle will be back in England to take the ride on two horses for his boss Emma Lavelle. Doyle rides King's Forest in the 3:15 while he gets the leg up on Kangaroo Court thirty minutes later in the feature race on the card, the Listed Summer Plate Handicap Chase. Donal Murphy
