Gowran called off Gowran Park has been called off due to high winds at the track. The course had passed an 8am inspection this morning but gale force winds have battered the track since and left officials with no choice but to abandon the meeting. "The course is perfectly raceable but the weather is just too dangerous," said clerk of the course Paddy Graffin. "We can't even get the wings up for the hurdles as they keep blowing over. The forecast is for it to get worse so we have no choice."
