Gowran cancelled This evening's meeting at Gowran Park has been cancelled due to waterlogging. An inspection was called for 11am following heavy rain and the forecast for further rain and high winds. However the decision to cancel the seven race Flat card, featuring the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Hurry Harriet Stakes was brought forward by half an hour. Clerk of the Course Paddy Graffin reportedly described the rain as "unbelievable". The track received approximately an inch and a half this morning.
