Gowran ground eases The ground has eased at Gowran Park following 8mm of rain overnight at the Kilkenny track. The going is now heavy, soft in places on the chase course and soft to heavy on the hurdles track. The forecast is for a dry day today in the area. Action gets underway at 1.40pm on the seven-race card which feature the Grade 2 Red Mills Chase and Red Mills Hurdle.
