Grand National the long term target for French Dynamite After his recent big race success, the Grand National has now been mooted as the long term target for the Eric McNamara-trained French Dynamite. On just his second start for current connections, the talented 10-year-old claimed the Munster National at Limerick earlier this month, leading home stable companion Weveallbeencaught. Aintree the long-term plan Speaking at Galway on Sunday, McNamara said: "We are thinking about the Aintree National for French Dynamite and will work back from there. "We'll probably run him in something over Christmas, but in what I don't know. He has gone to 152 (rating) now so it will be hard to place him." The Rathkeale handler also discussed plans for Weveallbeencaught, adding: "He'll go straight to the Paddy Power at Leopardstown over Christmas. "Both horses came out of the race well, they are in great shape and are 100%." You can also check out our best Grand National betting offers and recommendations. Additional reporting by Thomas Weekes
