Group Three winner Great Page has a date in the sales ring before her next outing on track after being added to the catalogue at this year's Goffs London Sale.

The Richard Hannon-trained three-year-old, winner of last year's Prix du Calvados and a Listed contest at Naas, will go under the hammer at The Orangery at Kensington Palace on Monday.

Tim Palin, spokesman for owners Middleham Park Racing, said: "We are a commercial operator and every horse is for sale at the right price."

He went on: "Great Page is set to go to the sale. She ran in the Moyglare last year but she probably comes up short at Group One level.

"She is a Group Three winner and ran a good race in third in the Free Handicap this season. She goes there with a Sandringham entry at Royal Ascot. If she doesn't sell, she will probably head there."

Great Page will be joined at the sale on the eve of Royal Ascot by this year's Dee Stakes winner Viren's Army, who holds an entry in the Tercentenary Stakes.

Palin added: "We have left Viren's Army in the Eclipse and Irish Derby, but his next outing in public will be at the Goffs Sale.

"He will go there with a hefty reserve. If he does sell, good luck to the new owners, but if he doesn't he will go for the Tercentenary, then the Irish Derby.

"I know we would be slightly tilting at windmills in Ireland, but I see the race slightly cutting up. I suppose Viren's Army will be on more peoples' lists as he is an improving horse that could be popular with international owners."
