Greatrex has Punchestown in Mind Warren Greatrex is looking to give One Track Mind one more run ahead of a tilt at the Ladbrokes World Series Hurdle at the Punchestown Festival at the end of April. The Grade Two Betfred 'Home Of Goals Galore' Hurdle, registered as the Rendlesham Hurdle, at Haydock on February 20 is the most likely first port of call, although Greatrex may also consider the National Spirit Hurdle at Fontwell eight days later. "He won't go to Cheltenham, he'll run in the Rendlesham at Haydock and then I'm going to save him for the Grade One three-miler at Punchestown," the Lambourn trainer told At The Races. "I just feel he probably just wouldn't mentally be ready for the Festival yet. He's a horse of the future, so we're going to go that route. "We probably go for the Rendlesham or we may even look at the race at Fontwell, the National Spirit Hurdle, but I just suspect the track might be a little bit not to his liking. "The race at Haydock would be a good point to go and we'll miss Cheltenham and Aintree and head to Punchestown."
