Green Style does it in impressive style at Cork The Willie Mullins-trained Green Style was an impressive nine-length winner of the Curragh to Curragh Charity Cycle on Saturday, August 29th Flat Race, with jockey Patrick Mullins in the saddle. The son of Idaho was sixth in the Goffs Defender Bumper on the 29th of April 2025, and he led throughout the race. When asked to put the contest to bed, he went on again in a real nice performance. Speaking after the race, winning jockey Patrick Mullins said: “He had a setback last winter and, being a very good-moving horse, we decided to keep him in. We got him from the Crawfords and any of the ones we've got from them have been very professional. “He isn't flashy at home, so that's why we came for a 2m2f bumper, but he has a high cruising speed and that's why I made the running. “What he did there is better than what he does at home, and when he steps up in trip, I think he'll be better again. I think he will also go on soft ground and I'd be hoping he could be one for the winners' bumper at Listowel, so we'll see what Willie wants to do.” (Quotes from Tom Weekes)
