Griffin's leading Light

Eoin Griffin's Weybridge Light ran out the comfortable four length winner of the opening Sponsor A Race at Tramore Handicap at Tramore today.

Ridden by Seamie Heffernan, the son of Fantastic Light raced prominently throughout, eventually moving through to lead over a furlong out, staying on to defeat Sparring Partner

Afterwards Griffin reported "Weybridge Light may have one more run, hopefully in a 50-70 rated handicap at Dundalk before being left off. He should make a nice summer hurdler next year."
