The six-year-old was hampered by the winner when finishing second at Cork last month, with the result being allowed to stand following an enquiry, and in today’s race, under jockey Robert Whearty, made all for an all-out short-head success over 33/1 chance Bambeano. Whearty reported “it wasn’t the plan to make it but she broke very quickly from the stalls.
