There is the possibility of 2 to 5mm of rain this morning and it is set to be mainly overcast throughout the day. Galway now race on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Following 9mm of rain overnight it is yielding to soft on the hurdle track, soft on the chase course and heavy for the Flat. It is set to be mainly dry today. There is the possibility of up to 30mm of rain Saturday morning while it is forecast to be mainly dry on Sunday. Wexford race on Sunday and Monday and following 27mm of rain in the last 12 hours, the going is soft. There is the possibility of a further 20 to 25mm of rain prior to racing. The chase course is on the outermost line and the hurdle track is 11 yards from the innermost racing line.
