Ground good to firm for Champions Weekend

The ground at the both Leopardstown and the Curragh remains good to firm ahead of Irish Champions Weekend.

Action kicks off at Leopardstown tomorrow and they report both the inner and outer tracks to be good to firm.

The first four races tomorrow will take place on the inner track with the last four on the outer. Watering will take place on the round and straight courses at the Curragh today ahead of Sunday's meeting.

The forecast for the weekend is dry and bright.

The going on the national hunt track at Listowel has eased after watering at the Kerry venue ahead of their festival opening day on Sunday.

The description is now good, good to firm in places, having been firm, and watering is set to continue with the dry weekend forecast.

The ground at Down Royal remains good to firm ahead of today's Flat card at the northern venue.
