Ground improves slightly at Galway The ground has improved slightly at Galway ahead of their two-day meeting that kicks off tomorrow. The going for the Flat is now described as yielding, good to yielding places while for national hunt it is now good, good to yielding places. There was no overnight rain at Ballybrit and the forecast is for a dry day today. Showers are expected overnight. The Curragh have issued an update on their ground ahead of next weekend's big meeting. After 12mm of rain on Saturday the going is now good on the straight course and good (good to firm in places) on the round course.
