Ground improves slightly at Galway The Galway festival comes to a conclusion today with an all jumps card at Ballybrit and the ground has improved slightly for the final day. The hurdles track is now described as yielding having been soft for yesterday's action. The chase course, which was being called heavy yesterday, is now soft to heavy according to a tweet by course manager John Maloney this morning. Action gets underway at 2.15pm for a seven-race card.
