Adelaide and Ryan Moore could be reunited at Rosehill on Saturday if conditions are deemed suitable enough to run in the George Ryder Stakes.

The Cox Plate-winning colt would also be having his first start for new trainer Chris Waller following his switch from Aidan O'Brien's stables.

His participation in the Group One is, however, dependant upon how much more rain falls in Sydney.

"Ryan knows him well and obviously he and the horse get on very well," Coolmore Australia's racing manager James Bester told Racing.com.

"He'll actually have a sit on him (on Tuesday morning) at Breakfast with the Stars at Rosehill and that will give us an opportunity to hear his feedback on exactly where the horse is at this preparation.

"It's very difficult to improve on any horse that's been in Aidan O'Brien's care but he certainly looks fabulous and we're delighted with the horse's condition.

"This is a horse that needs to hear his feet rattle to be effective and just the way the weather is in Sydney at the moment with soft tracks, it's far from a certainty (of him running).

"Aidan O'Brien has always told us, and we've observed, that firm ground is what this horse wants."

Moore has also been booked to ride the Rod Northam-trained Odyssey Moon in the feature Tooheys New Golden Slipper on the same card.
