Dual Group 1 placer Endless Drama won the second race of his career when landing odds of 1/3 with the minimum of fuss in the concluding Follow Naas Racecourse On Facebook Race.

Winner of his maiden at Naas over six furlongs in October 2014, Endless Drama was racing over a mile this time against just four rivals.

Settled third under Colin Keane, the Lope de Vega colt was pushed along to lead over a furlong out and he kept on strongly in the final furlong to comfortably beat General Macarthur by two and a half lengths.

"Everyone was expecting him to win and he's done his job. Colin said the ground was as fast as he wants, and he even hated it cantering down to the start," commented winning trainer Ger Lyons.

"He's ground dependent and does not want extremes. Colin is not keen to step him up in trip but the people that matter are. He'll go for a race like the Royal Whip next with the ultimate aim of the Champion Stakes at the end of the year."
