Guest In No Rush With Guilia

Rae Guest is in no hurry to make a decision as to whether Vodafone Oaks fifth Guilia goes for the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The Newmarket trainer was pleased with the filly's performance at Epsom even though she was not suited by the track.

'She's very well and come out of the race clean. She's back cantering again now. She's tough,' said Guest.

'The track did not suit her. She's a big, long-striding filly. They didn't go fast enough so she wasn't travelling down the hill and when they quickened up the straight they left her a bit flat-footed and then in the last furlong she's run on again.

'She's a run a good race. She was inexperienced. It was only the third run of her life ? I couldn't be more pleased with her really.

'She's still in the Ribblesdale and we'll have to see closer to the time.

'She'll keep to a mile and a half for her next run probably. She might get further but we'll see after her next run.

'She's not in the Irish Oaks but any of the other Oaks she might go for.'
