HRI Outlines Allocation of 60 million Capital Development Fund Horse Racing Ireland has announced the allocation of the Eur60 million Capital Development Fund for the improvement of racecourses as outlined in the HRI Strategic Plan 2003-2007 launched in March this year.The following allocations have been agreed:1. Eur42 million for a new Racecourse Capital Development Scheme.2. Eur5 million for Health & Safety projects over the period 2003-2007 with a focus on improvements to race tracks, stable yards, weigh rooms and medical services including ambulance roads.3. Eur13 million to cover:(a) the development of an All Weather Track(b) track widening projects to accommodate additional National Hunt winter fixtures(c) upgrading starting stalls, camera patrols and photo finish equipment
