Shane Foley's mount didn't enjoy the clearest of passages but came home strongly to beat all bar a solid marker in Captain Joy here last month. The Dundalk Stadium Racecourse Of The Year Handicap also carries a prizefund of €15,000, and Paddy The Celeb goes to post with strong claims. All of his previous three Flat wins have been gained over this mile-and-a-half trip, and the booking of teenager Conor McGovern won't harm his chance. The 10lb claimer has been seen to good effect scoring twice on Slipper Orchid for Halford here last month. The first four home in the course-and-distance event won by Gretzky three weeks ago are all again in opposition, and perhaps Hardstone may now prove the chief threat among that quartet. Shane Kelly is also among Halford's roster of jockeys, and he takes the mount on Victor's Beach in the concluding Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey & Trainer Championship Handicap.
