Hanakiyya opened up her account on the third time of asking when running out a two and a half length winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden for trainer John Oxx.
Fran Berry who took the riding honours produced the 4/1 shot to lead two furlongs from home and kept on for a cosy win over 9/4 favourite Truth Seeking
Pat Downes manager of the Aga Khan’s studs in Ireland reported: “It was nice to get a win out of a nicely bred filly.”
