Shark Hanlon reports stable star Hidden Cyclone in "great form" as he prepares for what promises to be another fine season.

The talented gelding only won once during the last campaign, at Listowel in September, but ran a string of fine races, starting with his third in the Paddy Power at Cheltenham following that win.

Seconds in Grade Ones at Leopardstown, Ascot and in the Ryanair at Cheltenham in March came after that, before his season ended with a fall at Punchestown.

Hanlon said: "He's in great form, had him back the last six or eight weeks and he'll probably go for a run in the middle of November and we'll get him ready then for Christmas.

"He's one to aim for the Graded races and I'm hoping he's that kind of horse. He was good last year without winning one, so hopefully we can win a Grade One with him this year.

"We haven't discussed it (a Cheltenham target), there's a lot of good horses there - we don't know whether to up him in trip or go down in trip, we'll have to wait and see what's there and what's not there, but the Ryanair looks the one."
