The 6/5 favourite Forbearance was an emphatic four length winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap.

The Jessica Harrington-trained filly went clear rounding the elbow and was eased in the closing stages, with Merroir (3/1) faring best of the rest in second.

A daughter of Galileo, the winner broke her maiden at Dundalk in February and was third to subsequent winner So I Told You at Sligo in early May.

Winning rider Shane Foley said: “She got knocked about a bit in Sligo and the track probably didn't suit her but she learned a lot from it.

"The step up in trip helped her and it is good fast ground and she handled it well.

"I think she is definitely a mile and a half mare. We'll keep stepping her up (in class) as we go along."
