Harrington had Storm Ready for debut win Backed from 13/2 in the morning into 11/4 favourite at the off, Storm Ready made a winning debut in Listowel’s Tote-sponsored one-mile maiden. Out of Group 3 winner Yellow Rosebud and related to five winners, the Night Of Thunder gelding was bred by owner John Kirkland. Shane Foley got him across from a wide draw and he raced in the first two throughout, battling on well to hold Zelani by a neck "He is a nice horse who had a great prep from Jim Ryan, who takes care of John Kirkland’s horses, and will only go on improving,” said winning trainer Jessica Harrington. “He is probably a horse for next year and I don't quite know where we'll go next."
