Harrington off the mark on turf with Muse Jessica Harrington recorded her first 'turf' winner of the season when Vega's Muse landed the Leopardstown Members Handicap this afternoon. The Lope Ve Dega filly led over a furlong from home, under Keithen Kennedy, and soon asserted. She went on to post a cosy two-and-a-half length winning margin over Fixation. The 11/1 winner had scored at Killarney last August before finishing her 2025 campaign with a placed effort at Bellewstown. “She took a while last year to get going and get her mind the right way,” said Harrington. “She came on last autumn, she won and then had a good run. She didn’t grow much over the winter but she strengthened up a lot. “She likes that sort of ground, no extremes. I don’t think she’d go on firm or very heavy. “She could turn up again on Wednesday, we’ll see how she is. “I think she’ll definitely progress as a four-year-old.”
