Time For Sandals will test her credentials against Europe’s top sprinters when she lines up in the Betfair Sprint Cup at Haydock.

Time For Sandals steps up in class

Harry Eustace ’s Royal Ascot heroine faces her sternest examination yet after a Commonwealth Cup win and a strong third at Goodwood over five furlongs. Back at six furlongs, she is second favourite behind Lazzat

“We’ll find out now where we really fit in against the best over six furlongs,” said Eustace, who is hopeful the filly’s draw in stall two will not prove a hindrance.

Lazzat, No Half Measures and Sky Majesty among rivals

Royal Ascot winner Lazzat, prepared in Deauville by Jerome Reynier, arrives in peak form and is expected to mount a serious challenge. Reynier reported: “He moved well and behaved well… he looks amazing physically. We can only hope for the best.”

July Cup heroine No Half Measures bids to add a Group One sprint double for Richard Hughes, who also saddles Sayidah Dariyan

William Haggas’ Sky Majesty was supplemented after back-to-back Naas wins, with connections confident she is peaking at the right time.
