Harty wins opener at Navan

The opening race this afternoon at Navan, The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden was won by the Eddie Harty trained Corcovada , ridden by Colm O'Donoghue and owned by the Cole Family Syndicate.

Harty said afterwards, "This filly is owned by my in-laws and she has done her job now. We will probably stick her in Marlborough Hill at The Curragh and have a look, it may cut up well with the heavy ground. We will see how she progresses and we might go for a nursery later in the year."

Harty also revealed, "She is a close relation to Baron De'l and he will go for the Wolferton at Ascot."
