Chris Hayes doubled up at Tramore when Joseph Murray's Make Good dominated off the front in the Racing TV Free Trial Now Handicap over two miles.

This was the fifth winner on the card to make all the running.

Hayes had plenty of horse under him and when he asked the question of his mount charging to the final furlong, the race was soon over.

The 7/2 chance soon emphasised his superiority and scooted in by nine and a-half lengths from Dumb Love (7/2). Bynx was another length and a-half back in third at 9/2.

This was 10-year-old gelding Make Good's sixth career success comprising four on the Flat (two in Ireland and two in Britain) and two over hurdles (one each in Ireland and Britain).

Hayes: "The ground was my concern but when I saw the draw I thought I'd keep it nice and simple.

"I rode him in Listowel, I couldn't ride him at Navan and it was an apprentice race at Bellewstown where he finished well from off the pace.

"We just thought at this trip to ride him good and forward and he stuck at it well. I'm delighted for the lads, they are a lovely bunch."

Hayes was earlier successful on No Niki No (5/1) in the fillies' handicap.
