After his four-timer here in mid-April, Chris Hayes again demonstrated few if any ride Limerick better as he completed a double when 16/1 chance He's Our Man hacked up in the finale, the 5th July All American Family Fun Day Handicap.

The Kangley Syndicate-owned He's Our Man was starting off for George Kingston here, and the ten-year-old had Chris Hayes on his back for the first time in a race on this occasion.

Held up at the rear of this six runner field, He's Our Man travelled through going well from under two furlongs out, leading inside the last before going on to prevail by two and a quarter lengths over Hurricane Ridge

Kingston revealed: "Myself and the Kangleys (Ann and Pat, winning owners) are old firends and go back a long way and I only have this horse a month.

"He won hurdles, chases and flat races for Ross O'Sullivan but being a ten year old they felt he needed a bit of pep in his step and sent him to me as I'm near a beach (for exercise).

"There's a conditions hurdle here in a month's time for him next."

Hayes' earlier winner was Spinamiss for Paul Deegan.
