Hays buy share in Treasure Beach The Aidan O'Brien trained Irish Derby winner Treasure Beach has been part-bought by owners Jim and Fitri Hay and is set to race in the Hay's colours in the Dubai World Cup Carnival on March 31. Alex Cole, racing manager to the owners, said: "I can confirm that Mrs Fitri Hay has purchased a 50 per cent share in Treasure Beach and the plan is to run in the Sheema Classic. "Jamie Spencer will ride as he is Mrs Hay's retained rider and he will race in her colours. There are no definite plans as yet after Dubai, we will see how he gets on before making any decisions." Treasure Beach becomes the third horse trained by Aidan O'Brien to be bought into by the Hays, who purchased similar shares in Fame And Glory and Cape Blanco.
